The Copperheads signed four Moutaineers from Appalachain State University.  Of these four, three are returners from last season and two were SCBL All-stars.  Jared Faggart who was an all-star catcher for the Copperheads last summer hit .274 and was among the league leaders with 29 runs scored.  He also carried a .422 OBP for the Copperheads.  Fellow All-star Devin Ridlehoover will also be returning.  Devin hit a team best .327 on the summer.  He also stole 10 bases and saw a limited role out of the bullpen.  Ridlehoover will be in a utility role for the Copperheads this summer.  Closing out the returners in Jake Faggart.  Jake manned centerfield for the Copperheads last summer.  Jake had an OBP of .400 on the summer while taking away many extra base hits in the outfield.  Appalachian will also send LHP Nick Daniels to the Copperheads this summer.  Daniels is a local product out of Northwest Cabarrus High School and could see time as both a starter and out of the pen.
