The Lake Norman Copperheads have signed two SCBL veterans from Carson Newman for the upcoming 2011 summer.  First, they will have Zach Long (3B/OF) returning to the lineup.  Long was one of the Copperheads most versitile players in 2010 and will be looked upon to have a larger role in 2011.  He played multiple postitions and hit all over the lineup.  Joining him will be classmate, Daniel Sharpe.  Sharpe played for Morganton in 2010 and sported an ERA in the low 3's.  Sharpe is a right hander that will compete for innings in what was the leagues best pitching staff in 2010.
