The Southern Collegiate Baseball Leauge held its league meeting on Sunday and this years All-Star teams were announced.  Nine Copperheads were selected to be on the North squad for the July 11th event at Wofford College.  The Copperheads would like to congratulate the following players who were selected:

SS:  Tommy Jablonski (Oakland University)

OF: Shane Brown (UNC Charlotte)

C:  Mike Perkins (UNC Charlotte)

DH:  Landon Adams (University of North Carolina)

P:  Clark Labitan (Virginia Tech)

P:  TJ Worrell (Wingate University)

P:  Ryan Overcash (Davidson College)

P:  Kyle Teague (Oakland University)

Tarron Robinson (UNC) and Brian Litwin (Duke) will also participate in the homerun derby prior to the game.  The Copperheads are currently in first place in the SCBL.  They are currently on a 6-game road trip and will return home next Wednesday.
