The Lake Norman Copperheads improved to 2-0 on the season with a 6-3 win over the visiting Carolina Chaos.  Jim Leggett (Belmont Abbey College) picked up the win in relief of Kyle Teague (Oakland University) who pitched 6 quality innings.  The Copperheads were led offensively by Brian Litwin (Duke University) who hit his first homerun of the year.  He aslo picked up another hit on the night.  Clark Labitan (Virginia Tech) picked up the save for the Copperheads striking out two in the ninth.  The Copperheads return to action this Friday at Hopewell High School against the Spartanburg Blue Eagles.  Game one of the double header starts at 5:00.
