UNC Charlotte's Shane Brown picked up with the 49ers right where he left off with the Copperheads last summer.  In his first collegiate at-bat, Brown hit an inside the park grand slam.  He got the start in left field the following game and hit in the leadoff spot where he went 2-5 with two more RBI's.  The Copperheads would like to congratulate Brown and look forward to seeing him back in action in Lake Norman this summer.
