The Lenoir-Rhyne Bears will be sending two guys to Lake Norman this summer.  Joining the Copperheads will be junior (RHP) Chris Henderson and sophomore (IF) Nick Verhein.  Henderson led the Bears in starts (14), innings (89) and strikeouts (77) in 2008.  He was also a starter for the Gastonia Grizzlies in the summer of 2008.  He will be looked upon to start for the Copperheads in 2009.  Joining him will be Nick Verhein who transferred to Lenoir-Rhyne from Coastal Carolina this year.  Verhein can play three different infield positions.  The Copperheads are pleased to add both of these guys to their roster for the upcoming summer season.
