Virginia Tech will be sending brother Anthony and Buddy Sosnoskie to Lake Norman for the summer.  Both players will be arriving coming off of season ending surgeries.  Anthony (So., Catcher) started all 43 games before being required to have surgery on his face.  He hit in the 3 hole for the Hokies and had a batting average of .315 with 6 homeruns and a team-leading 37 RBI's.  Anthony will get some innings behind the plate along with time at 1st base and DH. 

Anthony will be joined by his brother Buddy, who redshirted the 08 season after having a torn labrum in the fall.  He had a great fall in which he was competing for the centerfield job and looking to hit in the leadoff spot.  He is back to taking full BP and should be ready to throw by the end of the summer.  Buddy will get at-bats in the DH and EH spot until he is cleared to throw.  At that point, he will see time in the outfield and possibly 1st base.
