Copperheads represented in the 2004 SCBL All-Star Game

Matt Taffazoli from Gardner Webb University was selected to the 2004 SCBL North All-Star squad. Matt's first half performance as a starter for the Copperheads made him very deserving of this honor! Joining Matt on the sqaud as a designated hitter is the Copperhead's leading hitter from Belmont Abbey College, Derek Brown. Derek has lead the Copperheads with his bat from day one of the season hitting .4.35 at the break. Last but not least to represent the Copperheads is centerfielder, speedster Calvin Lester. Calvin has used his speed to control the outfield with near perfect defense and leads the Copperheads and the League in stolen bases at the break. Congratulations to these All-Stars!
