Redbirds Drop Two in Rock Hill
ROCK HILL, S.C.—Rock Hill scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning of game two to complete a double header sweep of the Asheville Redbirds 13-10 and 4-2 Saturday night.
The Sox won game one 13-10 and scored single runs in the second and third innings of the nightcap. In the third, Brice Warner was hit by a pitch and moved to second on a ground out. Williams went 3-for-3 in the first game to lead the Redbirds.
The Sox answered in the bottom of the inning. Taylor Norfleet led with a single. Nate Swearer reached on an error and an intentional walk loaded the bases for Rock Hill with two outs. Warner singled through the right side to score Norfleet and Swearer to put the Sox back up by two runs.
