Russell C. King Field at Wofford College selected as site for       2008 SCBL All-Star Game

The Southern Collegiate Baseball League has announced that the 2008 SCBL All-Star Game will be held at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC.  The field is currently home to the Spartanburg Blue Eagles, the newest team in the SCBL. 

"We felt this location was great for several reasons."  stated Brian Swords, Executive Vice President of the SCBL.  "The stadium is conveniently located to everyone in the league, and it is almost in the center of the league geographically.  It is also the site of our newest team" 

This year's all star game will begin at 7pm.  The pre-game festivities will begin at 4pm.  Admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children.
